This interior design project for a IT certification company is located on the tenth floor of a new office block. The layout responds to the available conditions of the existing floor plate and the main requirement of the brief for conducting training courses.

The training labs are arranged along the west side to take advantage of the full height glazing and the outside view. The director’s cabin and the cafeteria are located at the two corner positions, that have glazing on two sides. The central area with the workstations is shaped to act as the core holding the spaces together.

The interior character and elements have been developed to create a lively composition of opaque and transparent surfaces, and to break the uniformity of typical glass partitions. This is done with a combination of colour and polished wood along with glass, keeping in mind the quality of natural light towards the west side glazing, as well as the lighting design of the interior areas. The extensive electrical requirements of such an office have been carefully planned and executed with concealed floor and ceiling layouts, to allow for future adaptations if needed.
